Title: Alright Techies!
Post by: Zeek on July 23, 2017, 10:35:12 PM
Hey guys, been a long while, hope all is doing alright. So i seem to of encountered a problem recently. Been more noticeable over the last 2 days. I keep getting random screen flickering in both my monitors, and both are at random times so its kind of hard to tell how often and in-between. Usually i notice it when im playing games. IE Minecraft, League of Legends, FFXIV, etc.. Most of which other then FFXIV are not to graphic heavy, i even lowered Video quality on LoL.

I have tried resetting the cables on both monitors, (Well one is tv/monitor.) And same with on the GPU as well. The GPU is a EVGA SC 750TI and is about 4 years old now?

I am currently saving up to build a newer computer, so maybe investing in a new GPU would be a good idea but i believe i would have bottle neck issues when i order a 1070 with my current specs. Though this may have to be a start.

Current specs are:
Processor: AMD FX-6300 AM3+, 6 Core processor
Mobo: Asus M5a97 LE R2.0
GPU: EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 750TI superclocked (Bought as such off of newegg)
HDD: 2: 1TB Seagate HDD (Dont remember models but non raided configuration just 2 storage spaces)
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750 G2. Modular
Memory: Some old stock Dell 4x2GB DDR3 ram. Know they are ancient but still run alright.

Refresh rate/frequency of the monitor not matching what you've got set in Windows?

Or try unplugging one of the monitors?
