My laptop just killed itself a day out of warranty, so now I have a very expensive paperweight. (this in addition to the problems I'm having with my PC) So I am thinking about getting a

You guys have any suggestions? I need it for uni/college so it doesn't need to be able to run any games etc. I want to steer away from HP because I don't want to risk another 1.5K on it
