I've been having the same issue.  Everyone in the server lags up really badly for about 60-120 seconds.  Everyone may even disconnect from the server.  This is not a computer thing, it is a server thing.  Everyone in the server has the same thing happen at the same time.  My guess is that the server is dealing with something else very stressful at that time, which causes the lag (possibly the restarting of a different game server, on the same system...?).  Anyway, I'm sure that the BFM server people already know about this, and it doesn't seem like an out of control problem.  I was, just as well, curious of why this was happening.

We are not certain as to the cause, however rest assured we have noticed this occurance. Today seemed better, at least when I was racing and hopefully it shall stay that way. Thanks for sharing your concerns.
