Title: January 2012 Time Trials Results!

Congrats to BFM_§åñdmåñ, the winner of the January 2012 Time Trials! He managed to just edge out BFM_Xtr3me by a single point even after barely losing Death Island to him by a 300th of a second!

This past January we had a total of 15 different people compete. Everyone gave their best and there were many close scores, including a tie for first place on Death Island between Blade and N3goti8 that had to be decided by comparing the best lap of each. At the end of it all, §åñdmåñ, Xtr3me, and Ben1 came out at the top, each taking first place in two maps among other high placings.

I'd like to thank all those who participated and those who helped run Time Trials this month, because without you, we wouldn't have had so many participate this past month. I look forward to seeing everyone try to improve on their times or participate for the first time during the month of February, as we will have another competition this month as well.

Time Trial times are determined by the average of the best three of four laps. The times and scores for the top three (qualifying) participants are listed below.

Congratulations to everyone on a Great Month of Trials.  


For those that may not have seen it Edison has posted a very good video on time trials. You might want to check it out before racing next month and practice some techniques and routes. Of course try not to copy all his mistakes like I did last month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     :LOL:
