BLue Screen on Windows XP (Solved)
« on: November 04, 2007, 01:51:46 PM »
Hello People! i decided to race a little today and i installed halo, updated it, and started playing...

about 30min (or maybe less) a blue screen comes up... (windows xp error screen) and i have to restart my pc... and got back to racing.. some time later another blue screen... restart, halo, race... same time later ANOTHER blue screen...

this blue screen shows every time i play halo for too long.... does any1 have any idea what is causing this? what can i do to fix this?

(in the error screen says something about a driver... some file '*.sys')

thnx in advance for your help!

I think I've had this before.

Does it say like, "Windows has encountered a fatal error and must close"?
I get that every once in awhile. Kinda annoying.

If it happens every so often I wouldn't worry about it, but if its doing it a lot, then I would check more into it. Usually, it will give instructions, like "if this event keeps occurring, please take the following steps."

Hope this helps.
