My computer updates wont unload

When talking to slap happy on vent the other day, when I it install it, but when I go to start>>shut down>> it is still there the little button on the shut down then it says installing updates every time i shut down. So when I actually shut down the computer, it will say installing updates, and when I start it back up the next day, and shut it down for the night, the updates are still there, it will say "installing updates" and for some reason my computer wont fully install them and I'm not sure what's wrong, it's been doing this for the past month or so.

That is only if you want to shut down before it finishes.  So you should be able to boot up and have it finish the update.  My guess is it's stuck.  Find the windows update button in your system try, click it and see what it says.  You might want to cancel the update, or see if there are additional updates you can add to kick it into action.  Then let it finish while the computer is running, don't shut it down.
