Marine is right. Only exception could be if the hog chasing the lone hog is going toward his nav as the lone hog is going the same way. So lets say on gephy that the lone hog decides to go up top by using the base and the loaded hog is behind him he may also take the base to go up top. As long as he is still going to his nav. So if both are going to the same nav and the loaded hog stays on his tail that is legal. But I think you meant is it ok to go out of the way to kill a lone hog and as Marine said that is chasing.
