I, as of last month, came across this game. It's rather fun! Does anyone else play this MMORTS?

Quite a bit of our BFMs do. I usually play as Sion, my own unique little build, but I have been playing as the troll, Teemo, the past couple days.

Also I main Yi now <3 All I have to do is jungle and get one kill and it's easy from there. Late game, literally the ONLY two things that can stop him is Thornmail and Exhaust.

Cant afford to keep up with new champions seeing as Riot refuses to price them at anything other than 4800/6300

Im good with Ashe and Nocturne...
But i need to get another champion in case those ones are taken, i went into a costom with jax twice... got over 40 kills and no deaths both times... i might have found a new champion to play

Custom is easy peasy! If you set the teams up right its easy to get 100+ kills with any carry.

Actually... with me i know if i do well with a champion or not cause i kinda be a bit keen the whole map and if i can live and kill ppl i can do well with him... for example, i tried playing trynd with a custom game and FAILED miserably

I also play LoL, though I can only do one game before it gets boring for me. Since I just started playing like a week ago, i have no idea the names of the champions except Ashe(Front Ranger right)?
this is just like DotA or Defense of the Anicents. Made by the same guy too. Pretty much, all it has is better graphics and different heros. Everything else pretty much the same. 2c

Are you sure you weren't playing Heroes of Newerth?
The new champion Leona who was just released is definitely a new personal favorite.

Which is the "best" champion (might come down to opinion)? I have no idea who to use xD. And the shop confuses me. Its like there is so many options! Argh!

Every champion has their strengths and weaknesses. And they all have their particular roles in a match. I couldn't tell you which to choose, I like to play all champions. Although you might want to visit the store and categorize to view "Recommended" champions; I suppose they are easiest to play when you first begin. I think most of them are fairly cheap to purchase as well (You either use RP 'Riot Points' or IP 'Influence Points' to purchase. Influence Points are earned for playing and Riot Points you buy with real money).
I suppose you're playing in EU West? I'm waiting for the option to switch server between EU Nordic & East and EU West (they recently split them up).

Ashe is the easiest champion to learn. She's also the cheapest champ and on the free rotation the most.

Leona is a personal favorite at the moment, she has very strong early and mid game. End game she is still extremely viable in doing what a tank should.
But nonetheless LoL is becoming stagnant, so I'm moving on to HoN and Realm of the Titans.

Dominon gametype!?!?! That should be pretty awesome. You can go onto youtube and watch it but pretty much all it is, is a Domination type game where theres three points, you need to hold at least 2 of them to win. I'd say the spawns would be the same in th current game type. :D Lovin Ram as always. Went 7/4/6 yesterday

It's limited beta. Dominion becomes available for a time and then they take it down again. It seems to be quite regularly though.
It's capture and hold. There are locations on the map you can capture from each other. It's very fast-paced with a high gold income and experience flow. Short games by comparison to Classic Mode. With each capture you have, the enemy Nexus' health reduces more quickly.

Also, going off of Elkric's reply. If you hold 3 of the 5 positions, then you don't lose any health on your nexus. I don't know what happens if both teams hold 2 positions and the extra one is neutral.

And yes, you need to hold the majority of the points to keep your nexus health from decreasing whilst decreasing the enemy nexus' health. If you hold the same amount of points as the opposing team, 1/1, 2/2, no matter if there are neutral points, no health from either nexus is lost.
Also a kill on a champion will also decrease the nexus' health, sort of working of the kill streak format, the higher the kill streak they/you are on, the more health the nexus will lose, up to 50 points.

Dominion is already getting sort of boring...just not nearly as much depth as Summoner's Rift.

The only thing I can think they need to change on LOLD is possibly making the Point Defense score +7 or +8 a tick (it's +5 currently). Reason being that people like Heimer and Karthus can hold down a point all game long and do a great job but not get much recognition in the way of scoring and therefore they come in last and everyone says they did nothing :C
I play movespeed Rammus with ghost+revive and stack zeals/phantoms. It's won me a fair share of games.

Leaked champion!!! Her title: Fiora, the Grand Duelist is an upcomming Champion for league of legends, Her files can be found in the PBE at the moment, although she is not complete.
Passive - Duelist: Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.
Q - Lunge: Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost.
W - Ripost: (Passive) Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. (Active) Fiora parries the next basic attack from a champion or monster and reflects magic damage back to the attacker.
E - Burst of Speed: Fiora gains Attack Speed for a couple seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed, stacking.
R - Blade Waltz: Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions dealing physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage.
