Ever since that new update everything crashes: media players, forums, facebook everthing!!
Super annoying, today I was on a music player website and It crashed, so I tried It again. Crashed again, 4 retries and every one of them crashes.
Everything crashes!!!

This is one of the big reasons I prefer a "downloadable update" option: *I* can manage the version that I'm using, and back off if an update goes bad....
Thanks for the warning, tho: I've been considering a move to Chrome of late....

I've been using Firefox for ever! It has been great until recently I had to close it down a few times because of it freezing and now it says it crashed whenever I open it. I've had to switch to IE and it's really hard cause I'm not use to it...I miss my firefox.. :'(

That happens to me occasionally, try going into your task manager and ending the firefox process(es) (however many there are). That usually works for me.
I almost always use Firefox, I avoid IE whenever possible, and only recently downloaded Chrome when a website I use for school was having 'issues' with firefox.
Of the three, I'd say that:
Chrome is the fastest, and second most secure.
Firefox is the second fastest and most secure.
And Internet Explorer is the slowest and the least secure, plus, it gives me a headache. :bang:

Don't care for Chrome, despite its claims of being faster, it's nothing but program tweaks that can be done to firefox. It also lacks the customizization ability that Firefox has and is rather bland.
I use firefox at home, I use firefox at work. Firefox is the better browser around.

My chrome has not had any issues yet, and I've been running it 2 years (i think)
The only issue I note is that it doesn't display the BFM news fader properly. the fader stays on one item and does not rotate.
Definitely prefer Firefox, but Chrome is super-speedy, and I dislike tweaking things in case I inadvertantly mess it all up :flashfact:

See, I got a new browser today, and I had always thought (because I used Chrome) that BFM had the same thing for the fader. And so when I signed on for the first time w/out Chrome the fader changed. My reaction: Woah!! BFM changed up their forum! Super kool!

I'm trying out Opera right now, Its pretty legit!
I actually use Opera but hear great things about firefox.
What I would say about Opera is, it's very good but seems to have trouble handling some features of websites that work well on IE. So sometimes opera makes a website look wrong.
There are also some seriously cool mouse binds on Opera that I keep discovering almost by accident. E.g. clicking the right button then the left button very fast moves the browser back to the last page. (This might happen on IE too, for all I know, but I never noticed).

:P the only thing i use IE for is facebook, a few searches with homework, and e-mail, this site, and cybernations other then that i use fire fox.

I use IE. I like it only because I've used it my whole life and it has all my blog marks and stuff that took me years to build up :LOL:

Chrome is still fine here...I only use it when doing Google Doc's for the advanced materials of use...other than that I'm a Firefox 4.0 Beta 12 kinda person(Until Beta 13 is out)

I use Chrome at the moment, used to use Firefox but the browser itself kept breaking so i made the switch.
although i want to swap to Rockmelt, i'm just too lazy / not caring to do so.

If your finding FireFox running a little slow try what BFM_Jä× did for the antivirus. Turbo charged Firefox for me! Thanks Jä× :neckbeard:

While that site did eventually get moved to a different host and server, dozens of people clicked the download prompt and got infected :\

As a Website Developer/Programmer, I have always preferred either Firefox or Chrome. Chrome is great for general Website browsing, but Firefox is much more stable, and much more reliable as far as visiting sites, and getting the intended view/functionality of the site.
Sadly, I currently am running the newest version of Chrome, IE9 Beta, and Firefox 4 Beta. Out off all of these, IE9 is a HUGE improvement over the previous IE versions, while I have to say so far, I am surprisingly disappointed with the Firefox 4 Beta. It does not support somethings that it should, but hopefully these issues will be addressed, and fixed before the final version is released. As far as the new Chrome goes, I have yet to have any issues out of it, so my suggestion to you is if you have any extentions installed, try disabling them, and then try to access the website again. If you don't have any extentions installed, then I would suggest uninstalling your flash player plugin, and reinstalling it, though I don't know the site, so I can't tell you for sure.

i actually use chrome constantly.. ive NEVER had a problem with it ever.. and i do EVERYTHING on it.. youtube.. games... face book.. everything..
i also sometimes use IE.. but i use IE9 RC.. :).. i love the new IE.. its great.. :)...

Over the past couple of days I've been encountering numerous crashes of Chrome, just from browsing the web. It crashed when I tried to open a new tab whilst loading a page on the forums. I'm hoping that whoever is responsible for the problem fixes it. -nods-

Sorry to bring up my old threat.
But, I started to re-use Chrome recently & starting today It has been crashing again & going back Into why I switched out of Chrome.
I remember reading some thread or post somewhere, I thought It was here but It wasn't. It said something about adding certain add-ons which Is what made Chrome not crash...anyone know about this?
