To take my post from one:
Ok you got a few options,

Using Xfire--------www.xfire.com it has a feature on there to do it.

Using the halo feature------adding "-screenshots" to your target line in you propeties. saves them in a folder off of your C:drive.

Using the "prt scrn" button top right of keyboard. only takes one so you have to paste and save it in paint.

Using fraps-----www.fraps.com, this is the best feature using F10 to take shots, it stores loads in a folder.

If you don't want to edit your Halo shortcut or download a program, there's always <ALT> + <PRNTSCRN> (The <PRNTSCRN> button is uaually to the left of Scroll Lock and will either say "Prnt Scrn" or "Print Screen"). This copies the screenshot to the clipboard, where you can paste it into mspaint.

<ALT> + <PRNTSCRN> is built into Windows, no shortcut argument required :-O

if you use the windows print screen, it will just copy the image into the clipboard.  You have to then paste it into a program like paint and save as JPG or BMP.

I prefer Hoversnap (http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm) for Halo SSs.

I dunno if its just a hotkey on our computer but if sometimes ill press Shift + print screen. It opens paint and auto inserts the pic into it. You can do it multiple times but to many and halo will start to lag, as well as the picture being taken slightly later then when you press printscreen, so i normally just use the very old way of just pressing print screen..copy...paste...save...etc...
