I made the ultimate Halo racing accessory. It's a foot pedal which operates the "w" key on a keyboard. It is easy to make, about 1/2 hour. If you are like me, you have the stuff to make it lying around already.
Equipment needed, a keyboard with a working "w" key, some wood, some screws, a hinge and some rubber bands. Got it? OK, check the URL with instructions and photos: http://www.findvertise.com/proracepedal/
Then, it's off to the races!

Wow!!! :toot: :toot:
That's, err... great. :P
-
Or you could just replace your car's accelerator with a big "W" key.
-
How do you walk with that thing...?
:P
-
You need to get Vince from Shamwow on that product, buddy!
-
Who needs a joystick or a foot pedal when you have some wood and screws!
-
lol i'm fine. i think that's a bit impractical, but good work anyway!

I agree.. You can buy a perfectly good, factory-made pedal to plug into your USB port. They're like 5$.
Very inventive though! I might try that out on a rainy-day.

What about reverse? = )
-
wait so do I need 2 keyboards.. cuz i need to type lol.
-
how are you going to accelerate without getting into the hog first?
-
I got a better idea, no assembly required.
Scotch Tape :)

Jamming the pedal to the metal is the way to drive!

If you've got a keyboard to waste like that, why not take all the keys off except the W key? Then you can press the W key with your foot without pressing all the other keys.

Very interesting and creative idea!

That honestly seems like more trouble than it is worth. I like tapping my driving key sometimes, like when someone is trying to get in. Eh..... Nevertheless, it is very creative!
