What is the best video game of all time? (besides the Halo series)

I want to add a vote to Starcraft and it's expansion. maybe not best game of all time, but definitively the first Real time strategy game to be (almost?) perfectly balanced. Warcraft 3 is good.. but Starcraft was the first one.

I need to get a new cd-key for my game... or just buy Starcraft II (when it comes out)

I have to go with Half-Life 2 and episodes I think. Amazing games!

Other great ones are Deus Ex, Star Wars: KotOR II, and Planescape: Torment. Oh, and Final Fantasy VIII. I love my RPGs!

this game is so awesome i used to play it everyday until i lost the disk, i really like putting spiders in the map every where or building a house with alot of flashy things on it and putting like a hundred of them in and it made the sky flash black and grey

Legend of Zelda (all of them [YES, even Wind Waker] except the CDi ones)
