I pre-ordered my PS4* last night anyway. As much of a fanboy that I've been for Xbox, I feel that only listening to your customers because your competitor does that regardless is undeserving of my support and loyalty.

As much as I'd like to continue to play the new Halo series reboot from 343, I'd rather support Sony instead.

*Battlefield 4 bundle. Wooo!

Yay, microsoft gives in to peer pressure (well at least when PS4 does it first)

I am going to go get a PS4 as well (either when the price drops or when I can afford it ;p)

Truth. I'm probably going to pre-order that as well. I cant wait to take sick leave ... or maybe just quit my job ... to play.

My only concern about Sony is that they waited to make their released info about their system until after Microsoft had already shown their cards. There were rumors floating around that Sony had the same plans for the PS4 as Microsoft did for the Xbox One. I can't say that I wouldn't believe that Sony had indeed planned on doing a similar thing. But... once Microsoft confirmed their stance, and Sony saw the consumer's response they saw a chance to make a move. I distrust both of them in all honesty...
Being a good racer in Halo isn't just about getting the best times. You have to know where your teammates and enemies are, and most of all... how to be crafty! XD -nods-

Oh... and "v.v" = sad face.

Props to Plixity for the first sig, Slayton for the Season XIII trophy sig, and Jane for the banner! Thx guys! ^.^

Sony played their hand better.

Microsoft's response after the crowd's discontent was rediculous in my opinion. They pretty much took the Apple snobbery approach and said that we the consumer would like it and buy it anyway. "No. This is what you really want, you just dont know that." (I'm an Apple fan, but not part of their Borg army, btw.)

Perhaps MS was going for a situation like this... Give a release conference that makes the customers unhappy, then go back on those bad features, and say that you listen to your customers and will try to give them what they want ...

We'll see though. There is still a good amount of time between now and release.

The damage has been done, at least for me. I'll be getting a PS4.

I might at a later date get an Xbox One if Titanfall, Halo and other exclusives are any good. PS4 already has so many good exclusives.
