Title: Steam Fall Sale - Nov 23-29
Post by: BFM_Fuzzy on November 23, 2016, 01:43:03 PM
Steam has just started their fall sale. Take a gander over and see if anything appeals to you!

Most of the games I like I've picked up already. So I'll probably sit this one out.

Post what you get!

Since it's less than $7, I'm going to go ahead and get Skyrim. I've never played an RPG (and I'm convinced I don't like them -- thanks Pokemon!), but it seems pretty popular... :P

You'll hate it

You're just saying that because I hate RPGs and you love them. If you love RPGs so much, why don't you marry them?

PS- Will I really hate it? I'm getting all the DLC stuff too.  $17.72 for all of it. That's a steal.

PPS- Is it just running around talking to NPCs and making decisions? I'll watch a walkthrough before buying it :P

Nah, you'll like it, might as well get the DLC.

It can be really objective driven or really open. Lots of fighting, lots of different types of fighting. It's fun.

Nope, too late, not getting it!

I did get Metro 2033 and what I assume is its sequel.

And Titanfall 2 from Origin, they have sales going on as well.

Oh, how much was Titanfall 2 and is it worth reinstalling Origin? :P

Also for anyone out there who is massively into heavy story games, check out Telltale's games. Most are going for 6.50.
Give particular focus to Tales from the Borderlands. Charmingly brilliant with its humour - sometimes just blatant but it's about Borderlands so, yeah :P

But it is, hands down, one of the best Telltale games I've played.

Titanfall 2 was $40 USD (down from $60) and no one knows how long Origin's Black Friday sale will go on. Haven't played it yet, it took most of an eternity to download. We'll see tomorrow!

Update: Titanfall 2 is pretty cool. Haven't tried multiplayer yet, but the campaign is good. There doesn't seem to be too much combat (I rarely get killed by enemies), but the jetpack/wallrun stuff makes up for it. Thumbs up and worth the sale price for sure!
