Wow that is a BIG question.  Could you be more specific about what you are looking for.  Remember the homework haven is for folks to get a little help on homework not to get others to do it for you.

How about you start by telling us what you think you already know about the ideas Hamilton and Jefferson had?  One of them was in favor of founding a national bank and one of them was not...do you know which?

Yes, indeed, this looks like more of an essay question than a one-sentence answer of the "Jefferson liked banks and Hamilton didn't" (if that is the right way round - check it!) type. Lots of research will be needed, I'd take a look at some books from the list below if you can get hold of them:

Markham, Jerry (2001), A Financial History of the United States, ISBN 0765607301.
Jefferson, Thomas, The Writings of Thomas Jefferson. http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/21002 (look in Volume 3).
Nettels, Curtis P. (1962). The Emergence of a National Economy, 1775–1815. New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston.

Cunningham, Noble E., Jefferson vs. Hamilton: Confrontations that Shaped a Nation. 2000.

And of course there are other books, go look for them in any decent library.

Well in that case you have a lot of reading to do and I'm certainly too busy to prepare a full answer for you - not to mention it being out of my area of expertise and against site rules. Hope the references I've suggested help - and there are plenty more to be found!
