Title: A Wookie and imposter BFM_jane
Post by: JonnyB on February 03, 2008, 01:27:24 PM
Was playing on server 2 about 18.30 GMT, things where way out of control. Diehard 6309 was trying to calm things down and was sworn at in truly disgusting terms. I am not offended easily, but this was way over the top. Generally it was a wookie being profane and then a fake BFM_jane came in and used some 'industrial' language as well. I have screenshot, believe diehard has as well. A wookie was team nading and trying to blow his team mates over the edge in Gegrophobia. I am not to keen on posting negative comments, but I think these need to be put up on this occasion.

One positive though, a big thumbs up to diehard for staying cool

Imposter server 2.

Please do not go into that server.

If you going into it, it gets advertised, so more people will join, if nobody goes in, the people who made it will get bored.

Please read (http://www.bfmracing.net/forums/index.php/topic,9969.0.html)

Also, thanks for the heads up on Wookie, he probably didn't know about it being an imposter server, so he might be the same on the real servers, saying that, i've witnessed him breaking rules, on our servers  :-\

Thanks.

Many thanks for the information BFM_VxT. Someone did say it was a hoax server, was not sure what to believe when you have BFM imposters and everything else that was going on !! I will make note of the servers numbers you linked and stay away, all the legit servers where full, u guys must be doing something right.  :)

I too ran across A Wookie. This player constantly beaks the rules. Team nading, nade spamming, and camping are favorites of this player. I dont play in any other servers but BFM and this is where I find him the most. Not in fake BFM serves, but real ones. As soon as a BFM member shows up though he suddenly turns into a half decent player. Other then that I have nothing good to say about A Wookie.

another thing, BFM jane is not the real one for another reason.
The real one is with all caps: BFM_JANE

Sever 3, Friday Feb. 8, 11:30PM EST -- A Wookie was not racing, being rude to other players, and dropping profanity like spent rifle casings. OK maybe not THAT frequent, but enough that <<c>><<, MDerms and I were all asking him to stop and please race. 0 laps two maps in a row (Blood Gulch and Timberland) because he was being rude and trying to argue with us. I've got screenshots, and MDerms has a few too.

Plasma was right: A Wookie was TKing and kept spamming the word Allah every time he killed someone and when he died (even when he felt like it).
But what I like the most is when an admin finally comes in and us, well, not so odd players started saying what had happened before the admin came.  A Wookie, understandably, denied every word.  The admin checked something and came back with these words:
"Wookie, you lied to me."
A great moment in BFM history, indeed.  A Wookie still denied his own words.  (I think he said "I love God" to try and deny his "Allah" statemenys, but it didn't work out too well)  I figured the admin didn't trust A Wookie after that, but he wasn't kicked as far as I can remember for that incident.
A Wookie was silent ever since then except for the occasional "ns" "nn" and "gg".  I saw him yesterday and he seemed to be very courteous and respectful.  Though there was an admin there.

Yes, I agree with jonny boy, although i knew it was an imposter server i still was trying to help because some of the BFM regular racers were there and were breaking rules. I wanted them to stop because they didnt know it was a fake server so they could of acted like that on REAL BFM servers. A Wookie, however was acting extreamly rude to other guests even thought he thought it was a real BFM server he was taking advantage of no BFM's and i believe jonnyboy has a screen shot i don't however i took one but i took it too late. Im not Putting down A Wookie because he thought it was real. Although i suggest he reveiws the rules and even keeps them where he can see them while racing. He has been acting up on The Real BFM servers. If you read all this then Thanks! :banjo:

Two months later I find myself at this topic yet again...  Some people never change, do they?

A wookie is calming down.  But he still is doing a lot that he shouldn't.  For example, he keeps ramming his own teammates.  He has also chase killed and mapwalked when there are plenty of hogs to use.  He also spams "ALLAH" every now and then, which does get on your nerves after a while.

(He also thinks I'm an undercover BFM.  If you want to play along, go right ahead!  I never lied about it, he just assumes it because I ask people not to break the rules)

Interesting how people think that they can act obnoxious in the imposter server just because REAL BFM admins don't have the rcon to it...

Sad to say. A Saw  A Wookie the other day in a different server.

Cussing, Camping, and being extremely rude yet again....

As for BFM_jane (The imposter) I saw them about a week or two after the incident. Didn't seem as bad with the cussing. Still didnt get the name right. jane JANE lol

I ve also played with A wookie. I must admit, his respect for teammates is nil. In gephy, I personaly witnessed him driving his gunner off the edge on the bottom, but jumping out at the last moment to save his life. When he did it to me, he didn't get out in time... this ticked him off. We both spawned at the same base, and while I typed my request for him to plz stop, he teamnaded me off the edge! this countiued for 5 MORE MAPS, and wookie showed no signs of stopping, despite repeated requests.  :bang: I finally left, before I got a little too heated. He also camped, swore, and sniped. its a pity, cause before he went rampant, he proved himself to be and excellent gunner... what a waste

As I explained to you in a server today wookie..it is not really a laughing matter.

For the record, you raced very well with me today.

Hello, This is Han Solo
I am  very good friend of A Wookie
i think he was bad to always break the ruels and spam the work "ALLAH"
but he has been treated unfairly with the bfm servers latly
he has been banned without warnings and without doing anything wrong
if i see these actions happen again i will report them comfirmly and take pictures of the things happening
Thank You

Han Solo

I respect the two previous posts about A Wookie.

Just a few things I would like to point out:
Because I'm not a BFM, I have had the pleasure of racing with and against him without inhibitions sometimes.  Like I said, Wookie is calming down and racing a lot more often than before.  It may be the aura of authority surrounding BFM admins, but when A Wookie races, he can be a formidable opponent.
From what I have gathered playing with him, a wookie is just trying to have fun, but also be funny.  His fun sometimes doesn't let others have fun though.  It may be fun to ram your teammates and watch them fly, but it can really hurt the team when they want to race as well.
The rules in the servers are not necessarily to control the guests and rule-breakers, but rather to ensure that all guests are able to have fun.  When one person is having fun and the others aren't, it creates these bad images towards that player.
I will admit, though, I do not have a good view of Wookie either.  But given some more time, I think that he can change his racing style so that the other guests can have fun too.  Posting the rules may help, but I'm too lazy right now to add the hyperlink. :P

I don't think I've ever used the word "fun" this many times in an essay.  But its hard to use other words and keep your point the same all the way through.

Give Wookie some more time.  It took me a while to get used to the rules, and I still am breaking a few of them  :-X

im trying to calm down its hard because i used to play a game called soldat. in soldat you could teamkill and do anything so im really used to no rules. its tough adapting but im getting there. when i actually want to race im always in the top 5.
