i got a 5200 good thing im alredy a citizen lol :chief:
-
I scored 10000 because I accidently clicked on the wrong answer.
-
how are u geting such high scores i onlay missed like 2 or 3 and i got half of ur ppl scores :muah:
-
10000 :aaaaa: I need to pay attention more about the government.. sigh..
:ninja:
-
I blew "the most important right" and answered RKBA. IMHO, the RKBA gives the people the power to protect their other rights..... SO I missed one
-
yesss 12000 for me too :victory: :victory: :victory:
-
-400 :) God bless britain :P
-
12000 after I messed up one question and restarted. That one just slipped my mind...
-
8000
only got 2 wrong, but they were 1000 point ones.

Same here, i figured out that when you miss one, it subtracts from your score. I missed two 1000 point questions, so thats 2000pts im down, plus it subtracted 2000 more from my score.
That totals it at 8000. Theres an example using my case.
-
I got 10,000, and I got them all right except for the last one :(
So, do you have to get them all right to pass the Citizenship test?
-
thats not the reall test just a littel quiz to give u a idea
-
I scored a 9200....need to brush up on my government....forgot we had so many representatives and senators! :)
-
I scored 10,000. Got the Alaska vs Hawaii question wrong (but being Canadian, you can see why).
Boot.
-
I got 7600,we have alot of U.S. influence,News,cartoons,etc.. :P
-
I scored a perfect 12000 points on this test.
Ya but are you not a state trooper or an MP or something similar.
-
:woot: 12000
The 1000 point question under Rights ("What is the most important right") seems kind of disingenuous to me. All the rights enumerated under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are important. They all tie together in one way or another.

Yea, I said Freedom of Speech. But it was Voting...
Like you said, they're all important. They should change the question.
-
I got 10800
Guess im a little smarter than i thought :P
-
OMG, my mom has to take this citizenship test in the next few months. (remember my post about my 10th year here?) I tested her and she only scored a 5600. I was disgusted with her. ^^!

The Flag:
Total Score: Full score of 3000.
Wrong: None
U.S History:
Total Score: 1800
Wrong: 600 point (Who main writer of Declaration of Ind.)
U.S Govt.
Total Score: 1400
Wrong: 800 point (Members of house of representatives)
U.S Rights
Total Score: 1000
Wrong: 1000 (Most important right)
I think that last question is not fair. It is more opinionated which right is the most important, and in my opinion it cannot really be dictated by the government setting the test. In Australia, voting is compulsory, so you may see where I am coming from though.
Since I am Aussie, and my total score was 7200, I was quite happy with this :)
-
Hydra,
WOW LOL
-
I got 10,000 -..... and i'm Aussie!!!!! And i think i guessed just about all of them, using key words i picked up form the international news to answer them. And sure enough i think it worked :)
Somehow i don't think i deserve the credit for that score... :D, as if i did it again, i'm sure i would get a different score. I found the easier questions harder for some reason, i got all the 1000 point ones.
-
Got 0, I'm Canadian
-
im aussie and got 6400
-
I got 10400 (missed the number of Reps to vote or something, 435 and not 100) but I feel like a jerk! A lot of non-USians know our stuff and on that Aussie test, the only one I knew was the flag colors and that's cuz I watch the Olympics! I'm so selfish...
-
I could have sworn there was 27 stripes on the flag :zoid:.

I could have sworn there was 27 stripes on the flag :zoid:.
Mabey you counted them twice and added one random stripe down the middle?
I know I've done it before I think.. :zoot:
:ninja:
-
2800, I'd rather be English/Irish anyways.
-
I got 6800, mostly because I don't know ANYTHING about our government, nor do I care to :P
Sonic
-
I passed, but with 10000. I take issue with the question of which is our most important right - voting, bearing arms, or free speech - because the RTBA guarantees we have the ability to preserve the other two.

I believe there is a very, very good reason that the right to free speech is guaranteed in the FIRST amendment!!
FYI: Here's the entire set of 100 questions from which the test is derived. (http://usgovinfo.about.com/blinstst.htm)
-
woot 3 wrong.. and that 6800
-
Mxy, you say you won't bore us, but you really just don't want to embarrass yourself!!!!
Kidding =)
Im going to do all 100 questions on the real US test and see how I go :o. I'll edit back later.
-
12,000! WOOT! That was pretty fun :P.
-
Of course this is not anywhere near as tough as the real US Citizenship test. This is just to get a feel for how well people know some of the most basic information. They teach all this stuff to kids in school.
I have to admit that I hesitated a little when answering the "most important right" question. Like some of you said, all of them are very important. I guess their thinking is that if you have no say in what your government does, then you are not truly a government of the people.
Just an FYI. Here is a question, along with the answer, from the test linked by Mr Mxy. The actual Citizenship test.
87. What is the most important right granted to U.S. citizens?
The right to vote
-
Fun little test.Easy if you ask me.I didn't miss any but seriously it was very easy.
-
I got all of the questions right on this test, woot!
I got to take the ACTUAL citizen ship test in my Political Science class at the beginning of the school year. I made like a 70% on it, lol. There are some really hard questions on it too. Its crazy.
-
made 120000 points!
I was surprised at some of the questions. Why should someone need to know how many stripes there are to our flag?
seems a little dumb, I personally would have emphasized the laws of the land more - such as the bill of rights, the constitution, and so on. but as said by Randy, this was a "easy" test.
-
9200 :-X
The Government section is what got me    :bang:
-
9200 I messed up on the government section to. Good thing I am not in government lol
-
I got 8000 thank you history class! :yesyes:
-
10,000 here. I always mess up on the House of Representatives! :bang:  Oh well! Most everything else I knew instantly! USA! USA! USA! :woot: :victory:
-
For someone who is planning on working with the government, you'd expect a 12,000.
Thats what I got... ^^!
-
lol 400 good thing im not american
-
Um, seemed pretty easy to me. I think most people ought to know AT LEAST this much. Oh yeah, I got a 12,000 (perfect, as if that were impressive).
IS THAT REALLY all people need to know to be citizens?
Oh man, we are in for it. Might as well just give each person an apple pie and make him a citizen if he is enough of a glutton to finish it by himself!
I hold my citizenship in high regard. It is worth much more than any of my degrees or certifications to me. It is a wonder to me that we make people spend 1/4 of their lives in school to learn what many call the basics of living in the American culture, but a simple test like this is all you need to join that culture.

The real citizen tests has more knowledge involved. That is a fun test to practice with though.
-
The only hard question, in my opinion, was the 50th state question. But even then, we had Alaska as a territory far before we had discovered Hawaii. I got a perfect score.
-
i got 12,000 too :victory: and im not even an american lol
-
:woot: 1200, I was nervous there for a while.
