probably to demostrate the awesome artistic abilities of the artist in question.... It's pretty good though, I like these.

They wanted it to be the same person, that's why the kept the eyes in tact. That was marvelous!

As I watched it a second time it looked like they whitened the whites (I would guess to make the eyes look younger) but I still don't think they changed the color, I could be wrong though :P
