Well. Hogziller, you asked me a couple weeks back in a server if I still had the Firebird and I said "nope". Sorry for not expanding on that. I did eventually end up trading this guy here in town. I met him at a carshow and I kind of brushed him off until he showed me his car...which is now my car.
The previous owner claims that, without the nitrous, he ran low 11s in the 1/4 mile. I can't confirm that, but I can say that this car
IS much faster that any car I've previously owned. Maybe not as fast as my uncles BMW M3, but I happy with it.
Some modifications done to the car:
• SLP 160 degree T-Stat
• 321 Stainless headers and Y-Pipe
• 4:10 gears and new bearings & seals on the rear at 135K
• LS6 Intake
• Z06 clutch & lightweight flywheel
• Z06 Rims
• Heavy duty slave cylinder
• Weld-in sub frame connectors
• Weld-in lower arm relocation bracket
• BMR Adjustable lower control arm
• BMR Adjustable panhard bar
• Polyurethane motor, transmission, torque arm mounts
• WS9 Outlaw hood
I miss the Firebird...a lot, until I start driving the Trans Am.
