Not reading Halo Disk? (FIXED)

Hi....

Well I tryed to play Halo after a System Restore.... Then it keeps saying "Cannot Locate Disk Please Insert Disk and Restart Program" or something. Anyone have ideas of what to do, or is it something obvious? Please help I'm bored  :bang:

Oh ya I tryed other PC games and the same thing happens WAAAAAAAAA Help ME

When you did the system restore did you DVD/CD Reader lose it's drivers as well?

You might need to re-install them.

ALso check CD for scratches/cracks. One of ours was found cracked two days ago and it doesnt read :(

It ended up that my CD Driver had been deleted  ??? I re installed it thanks  :yesyes: 1 Question, how did it get deleted? I didn't do anything. :?:

Could be that the restore had a problem at some point, e.g. computer was switched off halfway through, or maybe the driver got corrupted in the process. It's happened to me before; when a system restore went wrong once, it wiped out my graphics drivers, and I could only start up in Safe Mode-style resolution. I wouldn't worry about it tho, those sorts of problems don't last.
