I have an answer!! It's a little complicated, so just bear with me, ok? First open My Computer. From there open Local Disk Drives, or the C: drive. Now open the Program Files folder and open the Microsoft Games folder. Now open up the Halo folder and then open the CONTENTS folder. Now before you go any further, open up halo and check to see what your screen resolution is (For those who don't know how to find this, click settings on the halo main menu and go to video settings, and then look at the two numbers at the top) and then remember the last number. For example, My resolution is 800 x 600, so I would remember 600. Anywho, back to changing the text color. From the CONTENTS folder, open up the LOG with the last number of your resolution. I would open the 600log. now a window should come up telling you windows can't open up the log. Well don't worry, because windows has no clue what it's talking about. Just click the bullet beside "Choose a program to run this in?" (It should look something like that, at least). Now scroll down and choose Notepad to open it in and click OK. Now you're going to see a whole bunch of computer talk. All you need to know is that line that says
textcolor="#ffffffff" (that's 8 f's, which is the code for white text color)
Now regretably, I only know one code, but the color is a perfect blue text that shows up against any background, and is quite easy to read. Just backspace the f's and replace them with this:
textcolor="#0000CC" Make sure you use zeros and capital c's for this.
I'm sure you can find a list on the internet of all the codes. If any of this confuses you (which I wouldn't be surprised if it did) contact me through xfire so we can get together on vent so I can explain.
