laser keyboard
« on: April 11, 2008, 08:48:05 PM »
I just got a new keyboard that does not allow me to walk or drive continuously.  I opened up word and held down a random key to see how many times it would put the letter up without stopping.  It went about 4 and 1/2 lines.  That will not work for any game I play.  I don't want to have a seperate keyboard to play a game and one to type with.  So, my question is (finally)  Is there a way to change the settings to make it go forever?

Is it one of those virtual projection keyboards? If so, then it has to be set to keep the key held down, but now it's thinking that there is an obstruction between it and the "key" and it is only going the 4 repeats.

Aside from that I'm no help, I thought shelling out $75 for my G15 was expensive, I'll have to wait for the laser boards to fall in price
