One time I ordered a p'zone from pizza hut and he took like 1 1/2 hour to get here and its only like 10 miles away.. So I gave him his tip in quarters!    funny thing is he never delivers to my part of town now

Always tip .They make minimum wage or sometimes less and use their own car and provide you a service to your door that you didn't want to drive down and pick up yourself . Unless they are rude or don't provide you the service you expect always tip and be polite to your delivery guy and I will tell you some good reasons why.Your delivery driver never forgets who tips and who doesn't .He will treat you better and arrive quicker than the one who does not tip and last but not least he has your pizza he might of helped make it.If you really do not want toppings you didn't order and can not see .I suggest you always tip or you might get a surprise you never even notice and the delivery driver will get the last laugh I promise you that. So remember to treat your delivery driver the way you would want to be treated .He is just trying to earn a honest living and make a buck or two to pay his bills just like you and me.I should know I was  one for 12 years and now I own four Pizza restaurants,Not tipping your driver is  defiantly not cool.So always tip so you know your getting only what you ordered

We do not have tips in Australia. The minimum wage here for a 21+ year old is AUD$15.50 (Around US$14) so there is no need for tips we believe.

I once was a delivery boy,
Warlord is right --> we DO remember where we get a good tip or not.
Mark my words when I was going at the edge of my city and the guy wouldn't give me more than a dollar...his next pizza would be... sad.   (or delivered by the new guy)
As for no tips in australia, that makes no sence to me!!!

Now I'm making pizzas for a Pizza Hut, no more delivery!!

I usually try to throw them a couple bucks.  But really you don't have to tip them at all (only if your nice), because the delivery charge is added to the total anyway.  They also get their money back for gas, at least at some places.

This is true for the delivery boy ina Pizza hut, because he isn't even paid per hours.
But back when I worked at "Capt'n Nicolas"  (I think there is only one) I was paid 7$ an hour + tips.  No charges where added on the bill and I was paying my gas too

Even when my pizza is late I still tip as long as the delivery guy (or girl) is being nice because I know the large chains have millions of pizzas to deliver and probably 90% of the time it is not the delivery guys fault. I have no respect for people who give nothing to a delivery person, they are delivering a pizza to your door, they deserve it.

It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno... I just noticed... Wendy's practically stole that line, saying, "It's not fast food, it's Wendy's." It's plagiarism and a lie, all in one!

I usually don't order because I hate delivered pizza, so I'll usually just go out and buy (or already have) a pizza from a brand called something like California Kitchen (I think, Idk). It's a restaurant, too, and has the best frozen pizza I've ever had.
