How to take screenshots? (ANSWERED)

Could someone please tell me how to take screenshots while racing?

Ok you got a few options,

Using Xfire--------www.xfire.com it has a feature on there to do it.

Using the halo feature------adding "-screenshots" to your target line in you propeties. saves them in a folder off of your C:drive.

Using the "prt scrn" button top right of keyboard. only takes one so you have to paste and save it in paint.


Using fraps-----www.fraps.com, this is the best feature using F10 to take shots, it stores loads in a folder.

i use fraps because there is no need to hold  Scrolllock+s

I just downloaded and installed Fraps. Works great. Now I can capture those special moments (like driving a full hog off the course at the stairs on Gephy!) and relive them over and over. Lol.

HoverSnap is the best I have seen so far. Hit PrtScr only, saves it where you want in whatever format you want, does not cause any lag and is freeware. Forget who told me about it here or the link - but a quick search and I see it here though that does not look like where I got it.

Boot if you want the full version of fraps add my Xfire ig0rdrift and ill send you it, it allows you to record and capture in any format like .jpg

I've downloaded fraps. But, when I attempt to take a screenshot and go look at it, the screenshot turns out black. Anybody know why?

EDIT: try- reinstalling, saving them somewhere else, hitting computer, throwing out window, eating something, having a nap, then hit it somemore, then if not ask in Tech support
