I keep seeing Admin's saying "This is not slayer this is a race!".  So why not create a few slayer servers. If people (God forbid) got a litte bored :bang: of racing but loved :love: BFM servers slayer could take the boredom away from them. :yesyes:

If not slayer (as such) then the slayer maps for racing. No Hogs, just feet and guns. they could have fun on new maps and have the killing as well. :neckbeard:

Everybody who likes the idea comment please. The people who do not please do not leave a comment, LOL just kidding ^^!, please leave a comment lets hear both sides of the story.

it is a pretty good idea but i think KOS covers king o the hill slayer and oddball. but i like to do ctf sometimes. but almost always racing  ;D

CTF is lots of fun, especially once you've gotten some skills as a driver. When I get tired of racing, or being camped, or both, I like to find a CTF server (preferably Gulch, with rockets, tanks, the works) and try and get a few flags in before calling it a night.

I seem to recall reading a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away) when Skorcard was still up, that BFM members were pretty highly ranked on CTF. I remember thinking "not bad for a racing clan!"

It would be nice to see a CTF rotation on the KOS server.

Through the years there have been various attempts at assorted servers.  So after many cases of trial & error, we have arrived at our current configuration of servers, which has decidedly worked the most efficiently for us as a clan.  I say efficient as in we have a very consistent amount of people in our servers as we have them configued at this time.

Now, we do still experiment once in a while, since we're not ignorant of growth issues.  But, as I mentioned, other options of Halo have not worked out as well for us as much as your good old basic racing.  I am not aware of any attempts at a CTF server, but then again, I am "Mad"!?   :bang:

We have the KOS for a bit of variety, and occasionally during 'mixed mod' scrims there will be CTF maps, but first and foremost, BFM is a Halo Racing Clan.  That's where our focus lies, even when runnig CE maps.

Yes! YES YES YES!!!
I do remember at one stage Hlao set the British server to Noobs Playground style, our CTF server got lost in server switching etc... and was never that popular. KOS does attract some people, especially once they see some people playing, so we do offer some non-race alternatives.
