What do parents think about excessive Halo Play?

Hey everyone! Just wanna see what your parents think about your excessive time spent on the computer playing Halo!!! My parents personally HATE it. They don't want to see me playing the game...

yes, anytime I dont do what they asked for  or I get a low grade they blame it all on halo!  ::)

I can actually see my son's attitude change when he plays halo allot. We've had to limit his time on it. He's only 10, though. We let him play an hour/day.

I should probably not play as much, but my wife and kids got to go to Disney (mother-in-law's treat) without me  :sad: --- I'm stuck at work because a senior employee got the vacation time! Oh well...I'm learning the ice bridge jump  ;D

We have the same situation with our 11 year old who we have to limit - he gets very antisocial when he's been on the computer for more than an hour or so.  I don't think it's Halo or any other game, he just gets wrapped up in it and takes awhile to snap out of it.

My parents don't know I play Halo...

...but my wife, now that's a different story. I've got to admit she's not too happy about it, but I try to keep my game play down to a couple of hours each week day. I've got an older boy who spends waaaay too much time gaming, so compared to him I'm barely on her radar.

But seriously, as a parent, I find that more than 2 hours a day is excessive. Now that would make an interesting poll, don't you think?
