Your Opinion on FireFox3

i personally love Firefox3, so much faster and safer than Internet Explorer. I suggest everyone get it, its free, whats holding u back?

this poll will close in a week but i think everyone will have voted by then.

REMEMBER: plz vote for yes or no and then if u love it or hate it, u have 2 votes per person.

EXAMPLE: your first vote=YES second=I LOVE Firefox3

FireFox+windows=not good
IE+windows=good
FireFox+Macintosh/leopard=great

FF3 is good and bad. The Awesomebar isn't exactly awesome, but at least I can't "order by name" my bookmarks when I missed "reload live bookmark" on my inbox feed.

the one thing about FF3 is that i cant open up tabs as easily as in IE. anyone now an easy way?

I do not have Firefox, but I do LOVE it!!!
I used firefox at a friends house...
Can't download it, because my dad doesn't want me to download anymore stuff as it is.  I download a lot of stuff behind his back... shhh. :ssh:

Yeah i am using it nowww :D And i love it

I have IE7 aswell but this is much faster :P however i dont know if anyone else has this problem but my firefox takes longer to open then Internet Explorer, any one else think this???

This is a common complaint that people have when you ask them about their browser "speed": IE starts-up more quickly than FF, but when you're actually surfing, FF tends to be a bit faster.  The difference in start-up time is due to the foundations on which each one is built.  IE runs on the same GUI-components and code-base as Windows itself, so when Windows starts up, most of the work for getting IE going has already been done.  FF has to load itself "from scratch" as it were, including all the elements of the "Chrome" GUI package, so it takes longer to start.

They are each built on a different core rendering-engine, too, which contributes to the subjective difference in "surfing" speeds.  And while both of them are moving towards greater WC3 standards-compliance, neither is close to perfect.
