   problem    hi guys i really need your help. i'm new to modding halo 1 maps. and i made a little mistake. that mistake is that i didn't make back up copies.

how you can help me??    you can help me by sending me the unmodded maps you have

I would say just re-install but from the sounds of things, thats not possible for one reason or the other.  :winkgrin:

As for sending you original game files. Illegal mate. As far as i know.

yes actully i reinstalled it like exctly 6 times but still it still has the mod the mod is in deathisland as many noticed that i quit the game when ever the server goes to that map

Go into My Documents, My Games, and delete the Halo folder, if that doesn't work, then I don't know.

Try from scratch, uninstall and then install again.

Bear this in mind though look out for this after uninstalling :

"Some files could not be removed" - (Or words to the effect of)
 
If that happens then the folders that halo is installed into haven't been removed.
(Default = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo)
Not the same folders as Max mentioned here.

And if the mod is a separate file, it could still be in there as your installing. Thus the problem still being there.

So what i would do is delete those folders before you install again (The install will re-create those folders anyway).

well sir i modded di (deathisland) with the halo mapping tool  i went to halo and right-click on it and selected open file location and deleted that file reinstalled halo still there but i downloaded halo ce which has di in it and copied it and pasted on halo and now it works so thanks for the help :yesyes: :dance: :LOL:
