My pre-BFM name was FendrBendr ("FenderBender" wouldn't quite fit), and it's a play on my poor racing skills (I always seem to find every single tree in Timberland, every boulder in Danger Canyon) but also I love guitars and have several of them. In the end, "FendrBendr" wouldn't fit with tags, so I shortened it to "Fender" -- voila.

The name says basically that I like puns and wordplay, I enjoy playing music and being creative, but also that I try not to take myself too seriously. Being a guitarist is a big part of my self-identity (i.e., how I define myself to myself), so "Fender" is a good fit.  I also am obsessed with sailboats, and I crew on race boats twice a week, but "FenderBenderSailboatRacingGuyArrr!" was waaaay too long for tags. 

"Fenders" also happen to be what they call the hull-protecting pads hung over the side of boats when they are docked. So I guess that's a tie-in, too.

My name says all it needs to about me

im a pro sniper on halo and im blind in one eye. and no i wasnt born that way.
i'll just make the story short. my first job was as a motorcycle mechanic with my uncle one day i got a chance to build a motorcycle all on my own , i jumped the gun on the oppertunity, in the end  a miss wiring of something made it blow up the day i went to test drive it thus cutting open my right eye and taking off my right arm.

so hence my gaming name and why im not a real good racer . cant race very well with a mouse hand that dosent responde as quick as a real one would.

my actual name kono stands for something but idk exactly what

My "name" (without tags) is Jane Deaux (pronounced "Doe"). I stole it from a TV show called Dharma and Greg, which was stupid and hilarious.

I like it as a screen name because it's a funny play on Jane Doe, an anonymous name for an anonymous person. In my case, an anonymous female. I use it everywhere, including my email address.

After getting tags, I dropped the Deaux because it wouldn't fit and there was NO WAY I was using Doe. Boring!

So there it is. It's not Jane and Tarzan, not the song "Diary of Jane", not Mary Jane from Spider-Man, not Jayne from "Firefly", not the band Jane's Addiction... People ask in game all the time!  :happy:

Guess it may have something to do with my globular figure, beard and jolly personality. I'll help anyone who needs it. I have a bad habit of taking in strays/homeless friends that need a place to crash. I also look AWESOME in a red suit.  :siderofl:
I've traveled most of North America but not in one night(get to many speeding tickets that way). I really don't remember when I started using the name but it has stuck with me for quite some time now.  It does attract some attention and I do keep a naughty list (Elvis is near the top just below Forseti).
It's all in good fun, isn't that what we're here for?

Anywho, my name doesn't seem to say anything about me. A couple years ago it would have said I have a fiery temper, but now, it doesn't say anything.
