GJ, Slanzinger!
FYI, and to pass along to others when they're in the same soup:
I usually do NOT recommend this, but in a case where it's obvious that new drivers are needed, I advise this method. (I'd usually check the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers first, tho, but sometimes that's not possible, or just too daunting....)
Do a "voluntary" Microsoft Windows Update, as follows:
0) Open IE, select "Tool" -> "Windows Update"
1) (Possibly other mumbo-jumbo, but get through all that to be able to) select the "Custom" button.
2) (Possibly more mumbo-jumbo to get through, but ...) when the Windows Update menu page (finally!) shows (witht he left-hand menu pane titled "Windows Update Home") select the "Hardware, Optional (x)" menu item.
3) if (and ONLY IF) the device in question - the one needing newer drivers - is listed there, select the check box in front of it, and continue as if you were doing any other Windows Update procedure:
4) Select "Review and Install Updates," then follow the remaining instructions....
Voila! You now have the latest - MS-approved! - drivers for your device!
NOTE: As mentioned earlier, I do NOT recommend "just doing this" in order to get "newer stuff." If everything is working fine on you computer, I advise AGAINST updating any drivers!
