So, coming back again...

How do I know it's a real BFM server?

When you get into the server, check the score board for the IP address.  Compare the IP of the server you are in to the list of BFM server IP addresses.  You can find the IP list on the right side of our web site at www.bfmracing.net

Another helpful bit of advice is to read this thread >HERE<.

It's a thread specifically created for our guests and members to help them differentiate between a real and a fake BFM server.

If you plan on racing in our servers a lot, I'd suggest just copying down all of our server IPs to a notecard that you can keep handy at your desk. You can either do that, or simply use Xfire if you have that program.

If you need any more help, feel free to let us know. :)

I do have Xfire, I can add your servers through there? Handy info, there.
