Preference?

This is a basic question, nothing hugely important just an inkling I thought of. I guess you could even say this has some relation to Blindsniper's question...

It seems you guys have a preference for Ventrilo while most of the clans I come into contact with use Teamspeak. Is there any specific preference for Vent over TS? They both seem like basically the same thing to me, but that is just me being clueless.

Yea they are basically the same.  It is similar to the difference between PC's and Mac's.  They do the same thing in only slightly different ways.  Each has it's own advatages and disadvatages.  We chose Vent in the beginning because Teamspeak does not support Mac's and we have many good members who play on Mac's.
