Team Hydra! Well, I couldn't exactly post the name of the school could I... :cop:

Yep! We did win our quarter-final last night in a thrilling debate on the topic "That we have more to fear from governments than terrorists". We were negative, thinking we had the easy side of the debate, but found it really hard to prepare.

As it was the quarter finals - the top 8 teams - we had 3 adjudicators, and we won with a landslide unanimous victory by 1 point, 2 points and 6 points (?, lol).

It was good to get another win under our belt, improving in confidence as we move onto the semi finals, next term. The top 4 in the state :) (If it is not a secret topic I will keep you updated for some ideas!)

So...I'll keep you all updated, but the next one isn't until October 8th :)

Thanks for your support, everyone!

Cheers,
Hydra

So how did it go?  Did you win and you're being modest?

   Well yes and no!

Seriously though, well done, that's awesome!
