Is there a program or site or something which will let me create animated sigs, ie. i wanna make flashing lights to some of the sigs i make. i have gimp but can't find any way to do it. so its like swapping from one image to another real quick. How? without cost :P anything you know of to do this?

I used to have GIMP a long time ago and used it to make .gifs, but I don't currently have it.  Basically, you need to paste/draw the sig you want to edit on the first layer (make sure to copy it once it's set).  Then you select an option (I think it's add frame or layer) and paste the same picture in that layer, but now add the tweak to it.  Then copy this layer and follow the previous steps in that cycle.

I may download GIMP again and figure it out for you. ;)

You can do it with Macromedia Flash but you gotta buy it  :)

may i suggest that u use jasac animation shop this is a good program that will more than get the  :toughguy:job done

You might try searching on the Internet.  Do a search for "gimp animation howto" or something similar.  There are a lot of documentation sites out there for Gimp.

I used gimp. there are loads of tut's on their website of how to do things like create good text and make simple animation's. once you do 1 or 2 you get the hang of it. Its all about the layers.....ogres have layers :)

I use photoshop, made my avatar, my simple sig and I make userbars and all that stuff.

I use GIMP too. Its not bad for a free program. I dont want to buy Photoshop because it cost too much. even though I can download it :P
