Of course I had to add one more thing  :XD:

After his Victory Speech, one line in particular stuck out to me in a very strong way.

"To those who did not vote for me today, I will hear your voice, and I will be your President too."

Those words, spoken by Barack Obama, gave some nice reassurance to this election. This might not be as bad as some make it out to be.  :)

I tried to watch his victory speech but I just cant get myself to sit through all that political bla bla bla not matter who the  politician is.  In my life experience its a politicians actions that matter not what they lie about in their speeches. So hopefully his actions will result positive change for my country, but only time will tell.

I won't hesitate to admit I was crying in joy for Obama. Yes we can and yes we did!  :neckbeard: Now it's time for petty partisan politics take a hike, to stand united  as we did on 9/11, work through our differences and in one voice, republicans and democrats and everyone else, say it for all the world to hear:YES WE CAN!  :yesyes:

Besides the fact that If i could vote, I would have voted Obama,

His quote makes me think one thing... (sorry for this, my sister is making me say it lol) Bob the Builder

If I could vote, the only reason I can think of for why I really would have voted for Obama is because of the Attack Adds McCain put on later in the Run

You'd be lucky to find someone in Australia who was not behind Obama all the way - he scored absolutely enormous popularity for his cause here in Australia, and when we heard he was winning half-way through the count there were many celebrations going on at school today :) (It was 171-64 at the time, I think...)

I am very happy to see him as the American president. The only downside is that he and Kevin Rudd (Australian Prime Minister) don't get along :P

It is in fact appropriate to offer public congratulations to President elect Obama for his win last night as long as this does not turn into a nasty political debate....which it has not so thank you all for that.  I have no problem saying that I am a conservative individual so I wish that McCain would have won but, as others have said, now it's time to get on with our lives and act as patriots.  He deservs congrats on his win as well as our wishes and prayers for support.

I will admit, I fell asleep as soon as I found out Barack won (mostly because I was EXHAUSTED but thats besides the point).

Maybe I'll catch his speech on youtube some other time...

Thank you Tanger!

First off, Congratulations to Obama, he ran a better campaign and used his money wisely.

Obama delivered a powerful speech last night just as he has done many times before throughout the campaign. He knows how to say exactly what Americans want to hear. Will he follow through with the "Yes We Can" or "Change", in my opinion he won't. All politicians have a quote they cling to. I personally don't agree with Obama's plans and views for America, in my opinion his plans reflect socialism. BUT, he won Presidency so on that note, good luck to the new administration and the US in general.
