I have been very happy with everyones liking of the new CE server. I want to keep it a fun server. I want two things from yall. Ideas on maps for our race and CKOS rotations and feedback on current rotations. I will be checking this thread on a regular basis from now on to see what yall have to say. Please remember ANY MAPS THAT HAVE INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT cannot and will not be used. They should not even be posted here. Thanks guys and gals. Let me know what you have to say.

the current rotations are a bit big and have some huge maps, maybe some of the bigger ones could be taken out since they take a while to get through

Yoyorast Island is a pain, and usually results in non-vent folks just walking around....

It's great when there's a full compliment of vent-enabled racers , tho!

So how about this?:

Take it OUT of the ROTATION, but leave the map ON THE SERVER, so an Admin can invoke it from the console? (via sv_map [...] )

K, this has probably been said before, but Coldsnap!
I know its huge, and almost impossible to race on, but we could have it for a CKOS map for CTF, or Team Slayer. Probably CTF but still, would be fun if it lasted 25 mins or some thing.

well i just wanted to say this but blockfort and sinkhole are way tooo laggy ...   really hard to race on... if i can make mine i will post back

And Coldsnap actually WOULD make a good Team Slayer/CTF map.

I love some of the classic Halo 2 remakes that some people have done, such as Halo 2 Ascension, Lockout, and especially Zanzibar!  Great for Slayer or King.

And to add to what is said above, Coldsnap is a pretty fun CTF/Slayer map.  But on second thought, CTF would take a while.  It would be almost impossible to finish with people who actually knew how to play CTF well, unlike some people in other Coldsnap servers in CE.

na the vehicles are fast enough so it doesnt take that long

I haven't actually raced in the CE server on Launch Bay, but I did like a bajillion laps in my own server. I don't know why but I love that place!
