Well, I don't know if Nirvana did a cover of it, but if they did, it would usually have the same song title, which yours isn't.

Unfortunately I don't find any references to Nirvana doing a song by that name, so I don't know.

What I DO know, is that I'm looking for the band that wrote and first recorded the song (if anyone else ever later covered it under another name.)

I keep wanting to say Soundgarden but I know that's not it because I only know one of their songs, and that's not the one. But I can totally sing the "take time with a wounded hand" part! >.<
