Was Snow White in the box?  If so, that's explains the 7 people.

Going with what Kiwi said...Snow White has died in a horrible car accident and is lying in her cask. Her Prince Charming has come to rescue her but isn't quite sure what to do. The Dwarves come in, and, seeing his hesitance, nod at him and each other in the hope that he will kiss her and she will come back to life by breaking the spell. The prince charming does this, and Snow White does indeed come back to life, as a result the dwarves walk out while the others have an intimate moment.

On the way out, it was sad to note that all 7 dwarves were hit by a passing train, and as much as Mr. Prince Charming kissed them, he was unable to bring them back to life.

Odin: There was indeed something important to them in the box, they had to be sure it was actually there.

Kiwi: It has nothing to do with fairy tales.

Hydra:    No.

hmmm... well... I think they are at a doctor's office or something like that. And they come in to see what's in the box... like a baby or something. Or maybe a body part from sergery  :P. But I have no idea why they would check in just to see if the baby/body part was safe or ummm, succesfully removed???? lol unless they made a deal somewhere else about it.

Me thinks I'm wrong lol.

Is it a normal box, like cardboard box or similar?

Yeah.  This one seems to be waaaay out there, so I think we'd better start asking questions rather than guessing....

So here's my first set of "Lateral-Thinking" style Yes/No questions:

Mxy01) Is there something of the man's in the box?

Mxy02) Do the seven people know the man for any reason?

Mxy03) Do all of the seven men PLUS the man know each other for some reason?

Mxy04) Is there a particular reason that they nod instead of speaking?

Mxy05) Is the box larger than a breadbox?

Enough for now...

Odin: You clearly know it, please answer.

Kiwi: 'Tis a normal box, for general storage.

Mxy01) Yes.
Mxy02) Yes.
Mxy03) Yes.
Mxy04) No, just confirmation.
Mxy05) No.

That's very plausible!

Probably why I'm assuming it's also incorrect :P ;D.

I know it? Honesty it was just an educated guess based on reasoning. one guy in a room was the doctor with the baby. So they all came in to check on the baby (family members) and they nodded because she had some problem giving birth before and this was a normal baby or something to that extent...  then nod to the doctor as a way of saying thank u.

I see. My bad! You were very close, I don't think they'll get closer.

Eight people were stranded on a deserted island with no food. One was a doctor. They agreed that they would cut off one of their hands for food. The doctor would keep his hands to perform the surgery but, if rescued, he would have to have his hand removed after. They were rescued and the other seven people all met up to be sure the doctor cut off his hand. The hand was in a box, confirmed removed.

Whatcha got for us, Odin?

wow... that is different lol.

Believe me or not but It took me a lot of patience and quite a few hairs off my head... but I finally solved Einstien's riddle...  I think lol. If u want to try it for my riddle go ahead and attempt it.  http://www.southernct.edu/~fields/alumni_puz/EinsteinsRiddle/

Otherwise: There once was an evil wizard. He took 3 woman from their homes and turned them into rose bushes that looked exactly alike. He put them in his garden. One of the woman had a husband and children and begged the wizard to let her see them. He agreed. At night, he brought the woman to her house. In the morning he came and took her home. One day the husband decided to go rescue her. So he snuck into the wizard's garden. He looked and looked at the 3 identical rose bushes trying to figure out which could be his wife. Suddenly, he knew the answer and he took his wife home. How did he know which rose bush was his wife?
