Sam asked his son John to run over to the store to get some milk. John was busy with whatever and said he would in a few hours. Sam needed the milk now and asked again: "Would you please run over to the store to get some milk, it'll take five minutes?"  John replied, 'I said I would in a few hours!" This led to an argument with John refusing to go get the milk now. Sam finally gave up. "Fine, you good fer nothin, lazy..." He really needed the milk from the store, so he ran over himself and got it.

first he was murdered in some way that made him bleed. he was then frozen into a block of ice, and put into a locked room. the ice then melted along with his blood to make a puddle of water and blood.

He's in a locked room.   So he killed himself?  With ice?  Either accidentally, or like stabbed himself with an icicle..
