chemestry question
« on: November 11, 2009, 01:57:12 PM »
ok so heres what i did..

i put some CuCl2 in watter then aded aluminum..  all the aluminum went to copper but didnt use up all the CuCl2...  i took out the copper and let my products in watter evaporate..  now i am left with a green puddy substance..

now my question is this a bond or mixture...  i dont remember if i added CaCl2 into the mixture as a catalyst since i only wanted the copper at that time for another experement..

so my question is is this i mixture of   CaCl2 + AlCl2 + CuCl2  or take out the CaCl2

or is this a bond of eather Al2CuCl8 or something else..

You could try PMing Booyah.  Mrs. Booyah I believe is a chemistry teacher.  You could send your question to her and they may be able to help you.
You blame me?  Remember it had to get past 10 other players before I saw the ball.

Thanks to Spidey for this sig!                                                                                                                  .
