bfm maps?

i was reading one of the posts here and i saw the word 'it takes a while to download the bfm maps' so what are the bfm maps?

The BFM maps are the maps that the BFM servers ran in their rotations. Users must have the maps downloaded to be able to play them.

The BFM rotations can be found >here< but, unfortunately, the server has been shut down for an unknown amount of time.

There are still many servers open from other hosts and they are immense fun so it's worth a look. The BFM map pack is actually quite a good base to start from as there are some very popular maps in there.
