CoD 4 or CoD 6?

I want to know which you poeple think is better?
It would be good to hear from people with both games as well.

1 Question about CoD6: Are there the spec. op. misions?

id chose cod6... Spec Ops Co-op as well as Widened multiplayer aspect, the single player contains stealth as well as action, so its good alround...

Plus the M16 is ALOT more anoying in Cod4

It depends, are you intending to buy Modern Warfare 2 (COD6) for the PC? because if you are, you are in for a major disappointment. They took away user operated servers, so you can kiss clans goodbye, as a replacement, they provided matchmaking. All of us console owners, know of matchmaking, and really its kinda ineffective for playing with large groups of friends and being able to drop in and out.

Me personally, I've heard that MW2 is still amazing, so i didn't buy it for the PC I bought it for the PS3. And yes it does have spec-ops.

P.S.- I bought it to give to my father for Christmas, but I dont know if it's gonna make it.  :o
Even now I can hear it calling to me to open it up and play it.  :LOL:

~EDIT~ Oh, and not to forget, if you pass up COD4, you don't get to play on the BFM COD4 server.....and it's pretty fun.  :winkgrin:

Personally, I would buy COD4 first, for the above mentioned reasons, but also because you can find it for real cheap, whilst MW2 is still topping at $65. Wait for it to go down in price, then you can use the skills acquired from COD4 to pwn at it.....just my 2 cents  2c  You can't go wrong either way.

Here are the two views;

Offline:

Cod4's campaign is so much better compared to CoD6/MW2.

MW2's campaign was fun, but there was no AC130 "wow" mission, and there wasn't the in-depth stealth sniper mission, granted there was a short little opening with on in it.

Also, CoD4 has cheats and Arcade mode, which MW2 did not repeat (because that would be fun).

The only thing MW2 has to offer over 4 is spec ops, which are fun, though some require 2 people to play.

Online.

MW2. Period.

Not trying to be a fanboy, but its basically CoD4 with more guns, perks, and all around improved.

I would agree with you, if it were not for the dedicated servers on the PC version. It depends, are you planning to buy the game for a console? Then hands down MW2. Or, do you want it for the PC? Then hands down COD4.

You are right in what you say about the dedicated servers. HOWEVER it is rumoured that a patch is in the making that will bring back the dedicated servers. IMO if this is try cod6 will completely dominate cod4 in every aspect of the game. I have played cod4 for about a year now. I love playing it. but the rush isn't there anymore, i just love cod6. the different perks and different killstreaks, just make it pretty much flawless in the fun department. and if the new patch comes out clans will actually be possible. not to mention the servers will be more stable because business such as hypernia (www.hypernia.com) will be able to host servers for the public.

Both the cods have advantages and disadvantages over each other, however in saying that ( i know it sounds like I'm repeating my self) but cod6 has it over cod4 hands down..

Anyone can get to 55 on cod4......with MW2 (its not caleld cod6!!!) you can get up to prestige 10! Instead of staying at 55 and not being able to get better titles emblems and ranks....also yes you can use the ac130 in spec ops....so go MW2 there is a lot more to do....

Yeah I prefer MW2. So much more available. The dedicated server thing has really bothered me. There are bugs when trying to join game within a party though.

lol were you expecting something completely different like a RPG or something.

The other game I am waiting for is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. That one looks awesome.

its not COD6!!! It's MW2....it doesnt say COD6 anywhere on the box :)
