What's your best weapon combination in halo?

Counting all halo games what 2 weapons do u want at your disposal fighting a covenant army?
i choose battle rifle and spartan laser

Either the H:CE magnum or the carbine as primary weapon (battle rifle wastes too much ammo), and I voluntarily forego a secondary weapon if I get an unlimited supply of frag nades instead.

i agree on those, the laser to instant drain the shields and then the battle rifle to finish the job.

shotgun for close range combat on foot and rocket launcher for attackking hogs.
sniper for long range combined with pistol.

only for halo 1

Dual Smgs + a Sniper Rifle, that's all i'd need, as long as i have a large amount of ammo.

personaly i would go with the gravity hammer and the energy sword as long as the have umlimited energy, or rocket launcher and fule rod, or dule SMGs and battle rifle

After the spartan laser hits, there's nothing left to shoot at. Spartan laser = instant kill on most enemies, with the exception of Wraith and Scorpion tanks where they might take two hits (unless you hit the vehicle's vulnerable spot). That's why it has only enough charges for five shots.

Halo 3.. Rocket Launcher and (I wish you could) Duel shotguns, or just the normal coz your cant. And my choice of vehicel would probz be the mongoose! Vrooommmmmmmmm!!

I would definatley go battle rife and rocket launcher... both can be varying ranges. Good combo I find.

Concerning the rocket launcher, I'd take the one from Halo 2. It fires slightly faster than those in H:CE and H3, and it can lock on to vehicles. Not that I or anyone else racing a lot would need that feature, though...

Personally? Hogs. type doesnt matter, Im a driver. If there are no hogs, probably pistol and shotgun combo. Pistol still gets good range without reloading every four shots and shotgun.. well shoot an enemy in the face at close range a couple times.

well in the terminator he dual wields a shotgun and an SMG so anything is possible
