Opinion on new console racing games?

Oh hey first topic start since I've been back!

I've noticed a recent influx of racing games on the console. Both Split/Second and Blur came out relatively close to each other and they both seem pretty interesting, but I'm not sure if I want to get them or not. I tried the demo for Split/Second but it didn't really give me a good feel for the game so I'm still not sure about that one and I have had no experience with Blur.

Anyone wanna chip in about either game if you've played?

I played Forza 3.... yes old now i know but still, nothing better than making a 1200 bhp Nissan Skyline...

Blur seems to be forcussed on the crashes, which would get frustrating but i have yet to try it.

Split second i havent even heard of so

i for one am not a big fan of racing games.all i see is a car going in a circle ive played all the games mentioned above and i really dont see the big deal about any of them
