Shade 3
« on: June 24, 2010, 02:34:13 AM »
Yeah. I dont have it. Need it to play certain games and apparently updating my divx didnt work. :/ It may not be possible for me to get it on this laptop, but was curious as to what anyone else had to say.

Thanx Benjy for the awesome Siggy!

Thanks TH-7 Erik! Love it!

DivX has nothing to do with what shaders your graphics card supports.

Ah, Im not sure where I got that then, I had read some connection between shade 3 and directx or divx or something '9'. What would I have to do to see about Shade 3?

Could be related to Direct X 9 (probably needs to be a DX9-capable card to support pixel shaders 3)

What graphics card/chip do you have in the laptop?

it was Direct x 9, and I believe what you are asking is the ATI Radeon Xpress 1250, which is what I had to update for Halo to work.
