I wouldent say its less popular however the need to download the maps often puts of players even when the end result is worth it plus many complain of extra lag in CE when in fact and in most caseses its down to incorect settings and not the game its self. Also most dont even relise halo CE exists. Its a shame realy becuse halo CE is alot of fun and add some much needed veriaty to halo maps espesualy like the long sword / pelacan on hugeass and the mythos on coldsnap
But is tru it would be great to see more people on the CE servers
