using a computer with integrated graphics? or using a card?

if you are using a card then i could say check for driver updates.

What Windows OS?

If not XP, then you need to set Halo to "run as administrator" and to run in "XP compatibility mode."

All I can suggest then is Uninstall and do a complete Clean Re-install and see if that clears it

BEFORE doing un/reinstalls, try adding " -useff" (note space BEFORE characters) at the end of the "Target" line in the shortcut you use to run Halo and let me know what happens.

Lemming needs to wash her armor better.

Is the color as it is both close and far or only far away?

going by the pics.. im just wondering but.. what is the gfx card u use? i had those exact same colors happen when i used to play world of warcraft and it happened when i was using a GFX card that couldnt handle the gfx of the game..... that was way before i got my 5770 :D... also have u tried going into ur settings and turning off things such as shadows.. specular.. 3d sound.. stuff like that. pretty much dull it down to bare minimum settings.. and see what happens.

Ahem, but I think this thread is about ToAsTy's "colorless armor" problem....

ToAsTy, I think you should run the Windows multimedia diagnostics program and make sure your graphics come out correctly:

0) Start -> Run

1) enter "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and then <Enter> key.

2) Select the "Next Page" button once it's done loading. If the box at the bottom of the "DirectX Files" tab says "No problems found", then select the "Next Page" button. (If not, post what it says there.)

3) On the "Display" tab, assure that the first line in the bottom box says "No problems found," and that all the following (all that are listed there) are ENABLED:

DirectDraw Acceleration
Direct3D Acceleration
AGP Texture Acceleration

4) Select the "Test DirectDraw" button and follow the instructions.

5) Select the "Test Direct3D" button and follow the instructions.

6) Dismiss the DxDiag utility via the Red X in the upper-right corner of the window.

Post any finding here, pls.
