I tried the map pack link and it did not work did it move?

Thats our maps.

But there has been various changes, such as removing star canyon and adding three new maps.

You need to download that link.

Then on halomaps.org, at the things at the top click on "halo ce maps" or whatever. Then type at sinkhole_final. Download. Type in bfm_final, download. Type in house2, download.

who is the author of the map house2?

when i search for house2 it comes up with multiple house2's ... help

There are links to all the maps used in the BFM rotation here

They will take you to the halomaps.org page for each map.
