Reach Thoughts?
« on: September 21, 2010, 07:38:28 AM »
Well as you all know Halo Reach just came out.  I just got it and I love it.  What are every ones thoughts on the game?
What do you like and what do you dislike?  I personally like the new armor abilities, ESPECIALLY sprint.  Sweet new guns, sweet graphics,
and just a ton of other stuff.  One of the best Halo games in my opinion.  Share your thoughts.

Thanks Vintage, it's awesome!

Campaign only took about 3 hours to beat on Normal, so that was kind of a let down.  Matchmaking is much better though with the vote system.

Too much over hype imho, with people going around praising Reach and saying it's the best game ever.  The day after the release date I found myself more entertained playing Fallout 3 (for the 80th time) rather than playing Reach.

All around, a pretty good game which made up for their horrible abomination that is "ODST", but too over-hyped.

Oh yeah, and for heavy forgers like me who have fairly public/popular maps, the new forge is a gift from the guardians; love it.

Eh, it was all right. As Lucky said, it was better than ODST. Campaign was all right, matchmaking is just sooooooo much longer to get started than MW2, but I do like the vote system.

Not in my Fav 5™

Also like Lucky said, the forge in Reach is awesome.  They improved it so much and added soooooo much stuff I
don't even know where to begin.

Thanks Vintage, it's awesome!

The campaign was nice in my opinion. Plus the AI was much smarter making it more fun and challenging.
Firefight was great! I love all the options that come with it. It gives me hours of non stop fun!
Multiplayer was great with all the weapons and armor abilities (Love jetpack!). Though im disappointed with the lack of multiplayer maps. (though forge world makes up for it)
Forge is always my fav option! I love forge! with the new phased otion i can make the map EXACTLY as i want it!

Reach IS my new favorite game now.

I dunno, I kinda had mixed feelings about it.

Campaign was, as has been mentioned, slightly short.

The return of Captain Keyes was cool (though how he looked to be in his mid 20's/30's at the end of Reach and he suddenly looks to be in his 60's at the beginning of Halo Combat Evolved is beyond me).

The last level (I won't spoil it) was awesome, and had a sense of finality to it.
