You need pretty high levels to do it that way though, otherwise you'll end up eating alot. So at a high level, bunyip+ Karil can do wonders at monsters that use magic.
Personally, I think Karil is overall a waste, so I won't buy it (at least not anytime soon). I'll just stick with d hide.
Since I don't have Karil, Spectres hit me too often for a bunyip to keep up. So I just take the easy way out, and take Proselyte and a p pot
Spectres have amazing drops though, so either way you choose, you're going be making a pretty good ammount of money. They drop tons of herbs, all the way up to Dwarf Weed, good herb seeds (Kwuarm, Toadflax, Snapdragon), rune full helms, Lava staffs, Black Mystic Bottom, and clue scrolls(i love clue scrolls
).
It's hard to loose money at spectres (unless you die of course)
